Erin Flanagan
Carpentry & Photography

I am a Red Seal Carpenter in Victoria, BC (lək̓ʷəŋən traditional territory). I apprenticed at a custom residential builder and worked my way up to site supervisor and project manager, a role I held for several years. I now work as a construction coordinator for a local development company.
During my carpentry apprenticeship I worked on the weekends building fences and garden structures through a sole proprietorship called E Flanagan Contracting.
In 2020 in partnership with my former employer I build a custom duplex to replace a 1918 bungalow on my own property.
I have a BSc. in Biochemistry and previously worked as a research assistant in a laboratory, working with RNA and DNA. I also coached and instructed sailing for many years, and competed internationally and attempted to qualify for the 2020 Olympics in the 470 sailboat.

I am an amateur photographer and spend my spare time hiking with my dog.
